Snow Day

I'm sure most of you were like me yesterday, and were surprised at the amount of snow we woke up to!  The weather here has been so crazy:  70s one day and snow the next.  I guess only in Kansas right?  Although it was cold, I still felt inspired to go out and snag a few pics.  The first few pics are shots of some of my vintage camera collection.  Those of you who know me, know I'm always on the lookout for these... I'm sure it drives some of you nuts.  :)

I begged my husband to go out with me to the park across the street from our neighborhood.  It was so cold but I can never get tired of snow... especially the kind we got yesterday.  It was like a giant cloud had settled over everything.  These next images I applied some new textures to.  I'm still not quite sure how I like them.  I'd love to hear feedback from others!

I think out of all of them, this last one is my favorite.  I liked the way the snow "painted" the bottom of Paul's pants as he trudged through the snow.

Hi Christina! As always your photos are simply gorgeous! I had to comment on your vintage cameras, I have a few of my own as well. They were in storage up until about a month ago when I decided enough was enough, they needed a place of worthiness!
Can't wait to see your web changes! Keep dreaming, it's what it's all about!

About Christina

One of my favorite memories from my own wedding, aside from marrying my husband, was when my Dad walked me down the aisle and I leaned over and whispered to him, "I'll always be your little girl."  I love that moment!
It's moments that make up our lives, defines who we are, and ultimately create our destinies.  Many such moments have brought me to where I am today.  I began photographing in 2001, and began Sandberg Photography in the fall of 2006.  This has been a huge dream of mine, and I believe that God has given me a gift of capturing unique and special moments; without Him, I am truly nothing!  I owe this dream to Him!
