trans.form

trans.form/ v. to undergo a change in form, appearance, or character; become transformed

In keeping with the theme from my last post, I found the following video online by Zach Arias. Although I've never met Zach, his photographic work has been an inspiration to me. He is also the creator of the One Light Workshops, which I have yet to attend. I love photographers like Zach; their willingness to share and inspire have made me who I am today and make me strive to be better tomorrow. This video was so encouraging to me. I am so blessed to be able to do what I love!

Dream a little dream...

Well, I have to say I have not been too impressed with my blogging frequency lately.  Winter has put me in a bit of a funk, and I feel as if I've been in hibernation mode for the past few weeks.  As you know, hibernation is a deep sleep, and when people sleep, most dream.  I have been doing some dreaming (as well as laying on the couch with my comfy blanket and AMC movies)  :)
Most of my dreaming involves my photography, which shouldn't surprise anyone.  It's on my mind all the time, and I'm sure my husband gets tired of me talking about it.  I dream about where I want to see myself in the future, the kind of clients I want to work with, and famous photographers I would like to meet.  I also dream about the types of pictures I want to take. Most days, my mind is overloaded with images, new angles, new ways to use color... on these days I would be in support of human cloning... I could really use two of me :)  In any case, some dreams I realize I have to file away for now; others I can begin to make a reality.  So, my plan for the next few weeks is to refresh Sandberg Photography... (Wow... I just said it.. it's now out there and you all have read this so now I'm committed... AAAHHHhh!!)  My first start will be a few minor tweaks to my blog, and a revamp on my website.  I will keep you all posted and let you know when it's ready for the big reveal.
I will leave you for now with the following images.  I found these a couple of days ago and they made me long for summer... I'm tired of the wind and frigid temperatures!  These were taken last summer at the home of some good friends of ours. When I'm not shooting this summer... this is where you will find me!  :)

About Christina

One of my favorite memories from my own wedding, aside from marrying my husband, was when my Dad walked me down the aisle and I leaned over and whispered to him, "I'll always be your little girl."  I love that moment!
It's moments that make up our lives, defines who we are, and ultimately create our destinies.  Many such moments have brought me to where I am today.  I began photographing in 2001, and began Sandberg Photography in the fall of 2006.  This has been a huge dream of mine, and I believe that God has given me a gift of capturing unique and special moments; without Him, I am truly nothing!  I owe this dream to Him!
