Shanna & David :: engagement 5-24-08

I love this couple! I've known Shanna for several years now, and admire her deeply. She has been waiting for this man and this day for years! They met last December and plan to marry this July. You can find out their story by clicking HERE.

I love this one below. These two were amazing to work with. Their passion for each other was evident in each shot I took. I asked the two of them to share with me a bit about their relationship. David told me that Shanna is his miracle confirmation of God's relationship to him...wow!
Shanna replied by saying that David is the reality of the dream that God had put in her heart when she was a little girl. They both agree that they are God's choice for one another!

Not only was their passion evident, but their silly side came out quite often...not a dull moment on this day!


Shanna went on further to say that it was like she had custom ordered David and God added a few extras that she wouldn't have thought to ask for.

I could have shot all day with these two! I am so excited for them and am looking forward to their wedding day! Thank you both for this opportunity and for this awesome experience to share in this time of your lives!

Amanda & Will :: Reception 5-17-08

Finally I am getting caught up on my work! Some of you may remember Amanda and Will from last year. They were my first wedding of the season, and on the coldest day of spring. All the fountains on the plaza were frozen. Shorty after getting married, Amanda left for Iraq. She is now home, and they were finally able to have their reception. Their reception was held at the President downtown overlooking the new Power and Light district.

It was such an honor to be asked to photograph again by this amazing couple! My husband joined me, and even though we were working, we had a blast! This group knows how to party! We met a lot of wonderful people; people who truly love and care about Amanda and Will.

Dudzik Kids

I did this session for my nieces and nephew a couple of weeks ago. We had a few challenging moments, but were able to pull off one of the better sessions out of the few we have tried since I've joined the family.




May has become somewhat out of control for me. In the past three weeks, I've had two weddings, one children's session, an engagement shoot and one senior session...whew! I'm going to need a vacation soon!

Wedding of Kelly & Jered :: 5-9-08

What an awesome day for a wedding, and Powell Gardens never fails to provide the perfect setting! Kelly was absolutely gorgeous and was so excited that this day had finally arrived. I am still working on the images for this wedding, but I have shared a few of my favorites so far below.

The first time they see each other is always special.


I've shot at Powell Gardens several time, and am always finding new angles and settings.
