Rachel and Drew :: Friday night rehearsal

Friday morning, we left KC and headed for Oklahoma City for my friend Rachel's wedding. We arrived just in time for the rehearsal. Below is Rachel's nephew, Ethan, who entertained us with his musical talents.

Rebecca has such an amazing voice... I could probably listen to her all night.

I'm not quite sure what was so funny, but I'm glad I caught it :)

I hadn't seen Rachel in long time and she was beautiful as always. She was so excited, and it showed the whole weekend! She finally found the man of her dreams!

Rachel and her father.

I'm so happy for Rachel; Drew compliments her so well...they are a perfect fit!

Below is my friend Cara, who also lives in Oklahoma. I met her and Rachel at the same time in Kansas City about 10 years ago. Of course, she is gorgeous as well...maybe if I moved to Oklahoma my looks would improve :)
Drew's parents, Otis and Charletta, hosted the rehearsal dinner at their home. Charletta did an excellent job of decorating their backyard. The atmosphere was wonderful! Top Shelf Catering did an amazing job with the food, and the peach cobbler was to die for!

I love the shot below as Rachel and Drew listened to family and friends share memories and good wishes.

Paul and I felt so welcomed and part of the family. It was amazing to hear so many people share their love for Rachel and Drew... they have each touched so many lives. I can't wait to share images from their wedding! Look for my next post with a few of those images, as well as a slideshow of their wedding day!

About Christina

One of my favorite memories from my own wedding, aside from marrying my husband, was when my Dad walked me down the aisle and I leaned over and whispered to him, "I'll always be your little girl."  I love that moment!
It's moments that make up our lives, defines who we are, and ultimately create our destinies.  Many such moments have brought me to where I am today.  I began photographing in 2001, and began Sandberg Photography in the fall of 2006.  This has been a huge dream of mine, and I believe that God has given me a gift of capturing unique and special moments; without Him, I am truly nothing!  I owe this dream to Him!
