Renee & John: 10-13-07

This wedding was well worth the hour plus trip in the pouring down rain! Renee and I began talking about this day almost a year ago. The rain clouds tried to darken the day, but Renee radiated through it all...she was stunning, and I'm sure John was proud. Mother nature chose to shine on us just before the ceremony and allowed for some great outdoor pictures.
Renee and John, here are a few images to enjoy while I edit the rest. There are many to go through and I hope you are as excited about them as I am!

This one below is one of my favorites...you can almost hear Renee say "It's coming straight to you!"

Another favorite of mine...I loved the emotion between these two!

Although Renee's Dad was unable to move around a lot on his legs, Renee still made this a very special Father/Daughter dance.
It was a blessing to witness the union of these two and I am truly honored to have been a part!

Fall Update::

I love fall! I wait all year for this season and then it is gone before I know it. The air is so crisp and the colors are breathtaking. The sky takes on a deep shade of blue that I can't get enough of. The sounds of leaves crunching beneath my feet is like music to my ears. My husband is the opposite....leaves on the ground only remind him of the hours of raking to come. Bless his heart though, he has been frantically trying to get our deck stained in between our bouts of rain. He has been working so hard!
The beginning of fall brought a couple of portrait sessions; one was a family I've known for a couple of years...mom and daughter could be models...they're beautiful!

Cameron is a senior at Barstow this year....great features and very easy to work with!

Jennifer & Jason: 9-22-07

Okay, so I am way behind on my blog for this wedding; September was a very busy month for me, and October is looking to be the same. Jennifer was a beautiful bride...a princess. The Camelot Ballroom was a fitting choice for this couple. Jason was dashing with a smile to melt any girls heart I'm sure, and together, they made the perfect couple.
In the days prior, Jennifer had some major trouble with her neck and back and the pain threatened her day, but she proved to be a fighter...this was her day!
It was like a family reunion for me. I was also the photographer for Christin's (bride's sister) wedding back in June...it was great to see so many familiar faces. The same videographer and DJs were also there.

I want to give a special thanks to this family for not just entrusting me with one wedding, but two! It was such and honor!

About Christina

One of my favorite memories from my own wedding, aside from marrying my husband, was when my Dad walked me down the aisle and I leaned over and whispered to him, "I'll always be your little girl."  I love that moment!
     It's moments that make up our lives, defines who we are, and ultimately create our destinies.  Many such moments have brought me to where I am today.  I began photographing in 2001, and began Sandberg Photography in the fall of 2006.  This has been a huge dream of mine, and I believe that God has given me a gift of capturing unique and special moments; without Him, I am truly nothing!  I owe this dream to Him!
